My Future: My Goals after LD0
1. Applying Leadership Abroad
As I continue my exchange experience in Bordeaux for the final month, one of my key goals is to apply more leadership initiative within group projects and academic settings. Working alongside new peers from different backgrounds has already pushed me to grow. I want to participate more actively in contributing ideas, guiding collaboration, and helping foster a positive team dynamic. Even in unfamiliar environments, I am learning to trust my voice and take on greater responsibility.
2. Mentorship in JDCC
Looking ahead, one of my biggest goals is to become a coach for the JDCC Entrepreneurship or Marketing teams. Having grown so much through the competition platform, both as a first-time delegate and a returning member with more experience, I desire to give back by mentoring others in my previous position. I hope to share the lessons I have learned, support the development of the next generation of competitors, and help guide them toward success both at competition and in their broader leadership journeys.
3. Growing My Confidence as a Leader
A personal development goal that remains at the top of my mind is strengthening my confidence as a leader. Early in university, I often saw myself in purely learning roles. But now, I recognize that I have knowledge and experience that can also benefit others. I want to take more initiative, step more fully into mentorship and coaching roles, and remind myself that leadership is not just about growing for myself, but also about using that growth to support and empower others. My goal is to continue learning and lead with purpose and confidence.
