2 Nursing Philosophy

I believe that nursing is both a calling and a profession that requires an intense commitment along with dedication, compassion and a strong sense of responsibility. As a nurse, my role is to support and advocate for my patients in order to ensure that they receive the highest standard of care regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation. I believe that for patients to achieve complete recovery, their mental, emotional, and social needs must be addressed alongside their physical health. I see nursing as an evolving field where continuous learning is essential, and I am dedicated to ongoing personal and professional growth. Ultimately, I believe nursing is about making a significant impact on people’s lives by offering comfort, support, and healing during their most vulnerable moments
