Owl

As Aria and Rae Bear ascended the hill, they glimpsed the long path stretching before them as the sun began to set, enveloping the forest in gradual darkness. Suddenly, they heard the echoing call of an owl. “Who, who, who’s there?” it echoed, its yellow eyes piercing the purple sky above. Rae Bear raised its head and spoke, “Oh, owl, it’s me, Rae from the bear family. I’m here to find my way home, and this human Aria is guiding me.” The owl replied with a mean tone, “Why have you brought this pitiful creature into our scared forest? This is our land, not yours. You should leave!” Aria intersected, “I mean no harm. I’m here to assist Rae Bear return home safely.” The owl, arrogant in its superiority, scoffed at the idea. “You humans are inferior. This forest belongs to us, and we will not tolerate your presence.” Despite Rae Bear’s attempts to reason with the owl, it remained steadfast in its prejudice, convinced of its superiority. As tensions rose, Aria and Rae Bear quickly retreated, understanding the futility of reasoning with such closed-mindedness. Though wise traditionally, these particular owls were blinded by their prejudice, assuming guilt before innocence, a stark reminder of the power dynamics and ignorance that pervade the forest. The Owl than swooped towards them menacingly which alerted them to retreat quickly.
