My nursing philosophy is based on four core principles guiding my practice. Compassion, integrity, respect, autonomy, and advocacy. These values influence how I deliver patient-focused healthcare services and highlight my nursing approach. I am driven by compassion to view every patient as an individual and, by advocacy to ensure their rights and access to care are upheld consistently with integrity and respect for their autonomy in decision-making, about their health care needs honoured properly. I strive to address issues and cultivate a healing atmosphere that enhances the dignity and independence of each patient.
