Smoking Policy

The entirety of McMaster University property, including the IAHS Campus, is 100% smoke free.

At all other Mohawk College campuses, smoking is prohibited on college property except in designated areas located outside.

For most institutional and retail settings, smoking within 9 meters of an entrance is an offence and punishable by fine.

Please note that smoking has been proven to be detrimental to your health and the health of those around you, and that smoking may affect your image as a health care professional.

This applies, around the clock, to all students, staff and visitors, and lessees of college space (24 hours per day, 7 days per week).
