Section 5: Evaluation, Grading, and Promotion
Review/Return of Tests and Exams
Please consult with your program area where instances of tests/exams are not required.
Term tests & midterms:
Where applicable to the individual course, students may have the opportunity to view term tests and midterm exams in class during a designated “take up” session. Under no circumstances may a student keep a copy, record a copy, or take an image of test questions or completed tests/midterms. This may result in academic dishonesty.
Students may book appointment time with the faculty member to review questions and content if needed.
Final exams:
Prior to a final examination, a student may request in writing to their course instructor, an opportunity to review their term tests NO LESS THAN 5 SCHOOL DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED EXAM. Accommodation of this request may not always be possible, and ultimately is at the discretion of the course instructor.
Final exams will not be returned to the students. To review a final exam, the student must make an appointment with the respective faculty member.
In the event of a supplemental examination, the same procedure applies for viewing a final examination.
