Credentials
You are required to complete the online Application to Graduate form in order to be included for convocation and receive your credential (diploma/certificate). This form, and all other convocation information, is accessed through MyMohawk, on the Academics tab. Your form must be completed and submitted by the due date listed, which will be during the last month of the semester that you complete your program.
All students are required to check the Grad List once it is posted to ensure their name appears on the list and is correct. If the student’s name does not appear on the list and they believe it should, they need to contact the academic department ASAP for details.
If you cannot attend convocation, your credential will be mailed to the address on file in MyMohawk the week after the ceremony. Make sure to always keep your address up-to-date in MyMohawk (Academics, Access Self Service, My Personal Information).

Clear to Graduate letters
Once all final grades are posted to MyMohawk, domestic students requiring proof of program completion prior to receiving their credential, can request a Clear to Graduate letter. These letters are requested through Student Services, 1-844-767-6871 or ask@mohawkcollege.ca.
International students requiring a post-graduate work permit (PGWP) can request this from The International Square (international.services@mohawkcollege.ca).
Transcript Requests
https://www.mohawkcollege.ca/registration-and-records/transcripts
Allow 7-10 business days for the processing of transcript requests, except during peak periods (September, January, and February) which could take up to 14 days. For transcripts requested with end of term grades, they will be processed after all grades have been received. For transcripts requested with graduation status applied, your request will be processed approximately 4 weeks after convocation.
Account Access
Mohawk College students will retain access to their accounts for one year after the date of their last class. If a student re-enrols at a later date, their original account will be restored and again remain accessible until one year after the date of their last class.
This includes MyMohawk, MyCanvas, email, CareerReady, and any other college system requiring you to log in. It is strongly recommended that students download and save a copy of any and all important files they will need/want to keep, such as: course outlines, T2202 tax forms, course materials, Co-Curricular Record (CCR), ePortfolio, and so on.
