Program Related Costs
Students are responsible for acquiring and the payment of all required textbooks and course modules, and program scrubs/uniforms. Booklists will be issued to promoted students prior to/at the beginning of each semester.
Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from campus, site visits, experiential learning placements, and any related parking fees.
Students are responsible for the costs associated with their pre-placement requirements.
Refer to the Registrar’s office for information concerning tuition and payment schedules, OSAP and bursaries. The program faculty members do not have any responsibilities related to tuition fees or OSAP.
CHC
Students are responsible for the costs associated with their pre-placement requirements:
- a Police Information Check (approximately $35.00)
- Completion of the Immunization form and related immunizations
- Successful completion of the CPR certification (HCP level)
- Some students may require a chest x-ray (which may or may not be covered by GuardMe (International Student Health Insurance)).
PHARM TECH
Pharmacy technician students are required to purchase a pair of Dark Grey scrubs and a program arm badge, to be attached to the left arm of their scrubs. Scrubs with arm badge are to be worn in all lab courses and for some site visits and placements. Scrubs and arm badges are available from the Health Sciences campus store.
Students are responsible for the costs associated with their pre-placement requirements:
- a Police Information Check (approximately $35.00)
- mask fit test (approximately $25.00)
- First Aid or CPR-HCP certificates (various costs depending on where offered)
- Completion of the Immunization form and related immunizations, including TB screening
