Lounges and Study Spaces

IAHS Campus

Student Lounges

Student lounges are available on the 1st and 4th floors (rooms 117 and 401), which provide student microwaves and eating facilities.

NOTE: the 2nd and 3rd floor hallway kitchenettes are for staff use only.

Student Services

The following services can be found in the 110-120 hallway.

Student Study Space

Study space is available in the following locations at the IAHS campus:

  • Library (room 104) – open study spaces, and group study rooms (bookable at the library Welcome Desk or online https://mohawkcollege.ca.libcal.com/)
  • Testing Centre (room 139) – quiet study space, bookable at The Square
  • Peer Tutoring (rooms 126, 127, 128, 132) – Peer Organized Dedicated Study, P.O.D.S
    • Log on to www.mohawk2.mywconline.com
    • Select Schedule: BOOK an IAHS P.O.D. (Group Space)
    • Select an available (white) timeslot to book!
  • First Floor Lounge (room 117) – group study space and event programming
  • Fourth Floor Lounge (room 401) – cafeteria and group study space

Students needing any other dedicated space for studying, tutoring, or group work (e.g. class rooms or tutorial rooms) can visit Student Engagement, The Square, or the Program Support office to request a room booking. All requests will be tracked and officially booked on http://whereencampus.mohawkcollege.ca. Same day bookings only. Groups of 1-2 students can book up to 2 hours at a time, groups of 3 or more can book up to 4 hours at a time.
