Introduction

Discussions about mental health will comprise a large part of most peer visits.  We will talk about a peer visitor’s role in supporting mental health including both what you can do and when and how you can provide support when issues arise that are beyond the scope of your role. You will learn about post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, depression, anxiety and body image in this section.
