74 Applications: PSYC100 and PREVnet
By Meghan E. Norris and Riley J.T. Bonar
In this unit we explored topics related to adolescence. When we think about how this work may be applied, we want to direct you to an incredible organization, PREVnet, co-founded by Dr. Wendy Craig (a professor of Psychology at Queen’s University). PREVnet is a not-for-profit dedicated to preventing youth interpersonal violence.
PREVnet offers online training for those who are looking to build competencies in areas related to their work. We share them with you below in case these are professional development opportunities of interest—note that these do not count for course credit at Queen’s University and are optional. We share them for students who seek to engage in additional professional development opportunities in these areas. These training resources are available in both English and French, and can be put onto your resume.
