Diverse Perspectives and Experiences in SoTL
Conversations about belonging within ISSOTL necessitate attention to belonging in SoTL from a geographical perspective. The early waves of SoTL saw conversations about the value of scholarly teaching, priority setting for the movement, and initial knowledge and theory building happening primarily in North American institutions. The articles that follow investigate the centrality of cultural and geopolitical contexts in the production of knowledge and the experience of global scholars within the SoTL community.
