40 Editing as a Team

When editing together, it is best to develop a structure for editing using time stamps. This can assist in directing the producer to the exact time that needs adjusting.

Here is a sample table structure that can assist in working together to develop media content:

Notice that the directions are descriptive. It also allows for “General Comments” and “Pause in sentences” seemed to be a common issue that they grouped together to make it easier to handle common issues all at once.

While this is a method we have used in our media development practice, your team might come up with a solution that works for you.
