My Open Math Introduction

My Open Math (MOM) is an open learning management system that delivers homework, quizzes, and tests with mathematical content. Students can receive immediate feedback on algorithmically generated questions that include numerical or algebraic expressions as answers. It is also a complete course management system that includes file posting, discussion forums, and a gradebook. Faculty can build their course or use or modify one of the shared template courses.

MOM was developed in 2005 by David Lippman at Washington State University and made openly available in 2011. This open textbook site contains some of the supported textbooks. Check out David’s video below.
