How would you design a future experiment to study the mechanism between FMD and the reduction of cancer incidence? (Note: It is an open question; no wrong answers to this question.)

Possible answer:

Can measure the expression of oncogenes and cancer suppressors in both control group and FMD treatment group of mice to see which genes are up-regulated or down-regulated. Then can choose a specific gene which has a significant change in expression to do further study.
