Researchers have been attempting to tackle and understand the implications of exercise on cardiomyocyte regeneration in injured mice. Their ultimate objective is to identify a molecular mechanism of this concept in order to regulate its pathway (Vujic et al.). The answer to this unresolved question will guide them to find a therapeutic method that successfully treats cardiovascular injury in adult mice (Vujic et al.). The next step would then aim to translate the experimental results into a clinical setting.
