Chapter 5 – The Calendar
Reading 5-1: My Morning Schedule

Every morning, I follow a similar schedule. First, I wake up at 8 am. I do not like to wake up early, but my job starts at 9 o’clock. Second, I take a shower. This helps me feel more awake. I like very hot showers in the morning. Third, I brush my teeth. Fourth, I put on my clothes. Fifth, I dry my hair. My hair is very short, so I can dry my hair quickly. This is my morning routine. It takes me 25 minutes to drive to work, so I have a good plan. I am never late.
Reading 5-2: My Work Schedule

My job is very busy. At work, I follow a similar schedule. First, I check my emails and answer them. I receive many emails every day, so it is important to be organized. Second, I look at my calendar and plan my meetings. I am a photographer, so I meet with people to take pictures. Third, I pack my camera and go to meet my clients. My clients select the location, so I drive to meet with them. Fourth, I set up the area. For example, I have toys and balloons to take pictures of babies. Fifth, I check the light and move the clients to the right place. These steps are important to get the best picture.
Reading 5-3: A Relaxing Week

My week is relaxing. First, I have a yoga class on Monday morning. After that, I have a church meeting at 1 pm and free time on Monday evening. I also have some free time at 7:30 on Tuesday evening, but on Wednesday afternoon, I have lunch with Tom. I have coffee with Mark on Thursday afternoon, and I am going shopping with my son on Thursday evening. Most of my activities are relaxing, but I have to work all day on Friday.
Reading 5-4: A Busy Week

This week is very busy. I work every morning. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I start work at 8 am. On Tuesday and Thursday, I start work at 9 am. I am also busy every afternoon. For example, on Monday, I have a church meeting at 1 o’clock. On Tuesday, I have a work meeting at 3 o’clock, and on Friday, I have another work meeting. I have some free time on Monday evening, but I have sports games or practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evening.
