This chapter includes the interactive presentation which covers the following subtopics linked to alcohol in a forensic setting: historical uses, effect on the body, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and metabolites in biological fluids. A case from the Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII) highlights the alcohol testing and alcohol elimination from the body.
